Return and Refund Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- In the same condition that you received it
- Unworn or unused
- With tags still attached
- In its original packaging
- Accompanied by the receipt or proof of purchase
How to Initiate a Return
- To start a return, please email us at hello@matchawearco.com
- Include your order number and the reason for your return
- We'll provide you with a return authorization and further instructions
- Once authorized, you'll need to ship your return to the address provided in the return instructions
Important: Items sent back without first requesting a return authorization will not be accepted.
Return Shipping
You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to our error (you received a damaged, defective, or wrong item).
For returns due to our error, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label.
Return Process
Once we receive your return, we'll inspect the item to ensure it meets our return conditions. If approved, we'll process your refund to your original payment method. Please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
Refund Amount
Your refund will include:
- The full purchase price of the returned item(s)
- The original shipping cost will not be refunded unless the return is due to our error
For orders that qualified for free shipping (orders over $100) that fall below the free shipping threshold after a partial return, a shipping fee may be deducted from your refund.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately at hello@matchawearco.com if:
- The item is defective
- The item arrived damaged
- You received the wrong item
Please include photos of the issue so we can evaluate and resolve it promptly.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Custom or personalized products
- Items marked as final sale
- Gift cards
Exchanges
We do not process direct exchanges. The fastest way to get the item you want is to:
- Return your original purchase (following the return process above)
- Place a new order for the desired item
This ensures you receive your new item as quickly as possible.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received your refund within 10 business days of our confirmation email, please check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company or bank, as it may take some time for the refund to officially post to your account. If you've done this and still haven't received your refund, please contact us at hello@matchawearco.com.
